Born in Großbreitenbach, Thuringia in 1966, Thomas was raised in Hennigsdorf, which is close to Berlin. Ever since the earliest days of this childhood, he has been drawing in circles. Thomas was already creating his own comics back then. In Meißen, he was trained to work in ceramics and pursued this profession in Velten near Berlin until 1990. He then applied at the Hethke publishing house. He worked there as an inker for "Sigurd" and "Nick". Since 1998, Thomas has been a character artist at MOSAIK and is now happy to have come back to his childhood heroes.
