Sally Lin was born in Taipei City in Taiwan. Starting in 1993, she had her first experiences in the field of animation at art academy (oil painting department). In 1998, she was employed as clean-up artist at one of Taipei’s biggest animation studios – "Cuckoo’s Nest/Wang Film".

After moving to Germany in 2000, she became clean-up artist at Hahn-Film. Since then, she has also worked for other animation studios, such as Motionworks, A-Film, Cartoon-Film, Toons ’n’ Tales etc.

During this time, she also worked as a scenery artist, designed drawing implements and learned 3D animation.

Since 2009, she has been working at MOSAIK, drawing miscellaneous supporting characters.
