It is with great sadness that we have learned today that Johannes
Hegenbarth died after a lengthy illness on November 8, 2014.
Johannes Hegenbarth, better known under the pseudonym Hannes
Hegen was from 1955 to 1975 artistic director and co-author of
MOSAIK, which at its beginning was published by the publishing
house Neues Leben. Under his leadership MOSAIK imparted
humanity and knowledge in a humouristic manner - a heritage,
which we are still committed to to this day.

How do you celebrate the Reforma... err ... Halloween tonight!?
This morning we already saw a couple of costumed children and a handful of spookishly dressed adults.
In any case we wish you loads of fun tonight, take care of yourselves and please don't forget to be nice; smeared house walls, cars and garden fences are – contrary to popular belief – anything but fun.
By the way: Until closing time (16:30 o'clock), you can of course come by our publishing house (Lindenallee 5 in Berlin) and get yourself some sweets. That is, only if you dare to ... Mwuhahahaha!
