After the second workshop-day you can already see a lot of progress. Characters were developed and designed, and even some pages are already outlined and ready for their final sketches.
MOSAIK-CEO Klaus D. Schleiter was asked to conduct a comic workshop at this years "German Weeks" in Karachi (Pakistan). Of course he couldn't pass up this opportunity and sent us this clip as a small greeting!
At the same time as Lona Rietschel - for the Orient-Express Series - designed the costumes of the Abrafaxe for her very last time before she went to her well-deserved retirement, all of the remaining character artists did the same. Especially since one of them would indeed end up drawing the Abrafaxe.
Coincidentally the sketches made by Jens Fischer are quite similar to Lona's designs. The tile of head-Abrafaxe-artist, however, went ultimately to Thomas Schiewer, who still draws the Abrafaxe to this day.

Angesichts der Omnipräsenz der elektronischen Medien in Kinderzimmern ist die Comiczeitschrift „MOSAIK“ ein liebenswerter Anachronismus. Und ein erfolgreicher dazu.“
Zeichnerisch weiterhin auf höchstem Niveau, ist das Heft ein gelungener Start für die Serie.
