May the Fourth be with you!
Today is the unofficial Star Wars Day and fans all around the globe celebrate this with smashing costumes and endless movie nights. The Abrafaxe were ahead of some of us and even went to the premiere of the movie Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace in the summer of 1999. However, not that that would be not enough, they even went suitably dressed to the preceding competition on the most original Star Wars costume.
Last Sunday the Abrafaxe were on a visit to Dresden's Magic City and even the MDR was there. Here a varied family program awaited you in the middle of colossal wall paintings, multimedial installations and astounding 3D installations!

An exhibition was organised by the German Consulate General on Thursday showcasing the talent and hard work of 19 art and design students who took part in a week-long workshop held last October under the direction of our very own Berlin-based comic publisher Klaus Schleiter.
Unveiled at FOMMA (Foundation for Museum of Modern Art) in Karachi, the exhibition introduced several stages of the comic book, from the conceptualisation, over the sketching, to the finished colouration.
